Summary: In the ALL NEW 11th episode of 'Scent of a Girl: Beginnings' (Season Premiere), the drama between Cally and Maxie settles down as both end up in different girls arms...kinda. Later, Cally and Mindy's burrito talk produces a softball of an idea that hopefully will bridge a gap between Mindy's significant Dakota and Cindy.

"Who would be knocking at my door at this time of night," I asked as I had been laying in bed reading when a rattling knock came at the door. I slipped out of bed and into my robe and went to answer it. Finding, Maxie, on the other side, a seemingly non-sober Maxie.

"Hi!" She said with a wave as she weaved back and forth a bit. "Are you happy to see me?"

"Maxie?" I asked as I stepped into the hallway and checked to see if anyone in authority was around. Luckily the hallway was virtually empty. "Are you drunk again?"

"It's possible," Maxie said as she held up a finger. I laughed as I guided her inside and shut the door behind us.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her. "Something happen?"

"I thought you liked me," Maxie said as she looked back at me. "You want me to leave too?"

"No, I don't," I said as I had her sit down in the desk chair. "But you stink so you need a shower."

"No, I don't," Maxie declared after she sniffed her pits and again made me giggle.

"Yes you do," I said. "When was the last time you showered?"

"HMMMMMM," Maxie thought and then started to count on her fingers before saying, "A year ago."

"OHMIGOD!" I said as I laughed out loud. "It was not a year ago."

"Maybe not, I'm not sure," Maxie slurred as I stood.

"You need a shower," I said as I pointed at her. "Come on."

"Oh boy," Maxie said excitedly. "I get to see your huge hooters."

"No you don't," I said as she grinned at me. "You're taking a shower by yourself."

"That's no fun," Maxie said as she shook her head. I rolled my eyes as I turned to get some clean clothes out her for.

"You'll feel better after a good shower..." I started to say but as I turned back I saw she had laid down at the foot of my bed and was fast asleep. "Maxie, what am I gonna do with you?"

"Are we OK?" Cindy asked as she came to the door of the bathroom and looked nervous.

"Sure, why?" I asked as I played a game on the Xbox.

"We kind of made out and you have a girlfriend..."

"Maxie and I are on the outs and I don't even technically know if we're dating still," I said as I twisted and bounced around a bit as I adjusted to the action of the game (Monster Slayer). "By now she's probably drunk somewhere."

"But us?" Cindy asked.

"Are friends," I said as I paused the game. "You don't love me. You don't even like me that way."

"I could," Cindy said as she sat down by me. "Seriously."

"And when you find the right girl you will," I said as she nodded simply. "Cool?"

"Always," Cindy said as she gave me a fist pound. "This whole night has just been so weird, and frustrating. I wanna go pound someone to make me feel better."

"Like who?" I asked.

"That bitch Selena Simerson," Cindy said as she pointed to my TV. "That monster looks just like her."

"Pretty funny," I giggled. "And the other one looks like Misti."

"No, Misti's horns are bigger," Cindy said as we both laughed.

"So you still spending the night?" I asked.

"Uh huh," Cindy said as she rose and started fixing the bed. "Have to now that it's past curfew."

"True," I said as I unpaused my game.

"So how does this work?" Cindy asked. "Me and you in the same bed?"

"You've slept in the same bed with Mindy before, right?" I asked.

"When I was like 5," Cindy said.

"Same thing only now you're a little less mature," I said and ducked as she fired a pillow at me in protest. "What?"

"I've decided who I'm gonna pound, you," She said as she came towards me with another pillow and made me pause my game and jump up right as she swung and smashed me in the face. I recovered a moment later and grabbed my own weapon and swung back viciously and connected spot on. Both us laughing and trash talking as the pillow fight evolved into a wrestling match and that turned into us laying on the bed giggling for the next hour about the silliness of the whole situation.

"They shouldn't allow people like you two in the hallways," Misti spat as she came by Mindy and I in the hallway. Her ever present (thug) best friend Selena behind her. Mindy quickly moved behind me and hugged me protectively.

"And they should make bigots like you go to all hate group schools," I fired back as she walked off when a security guard looked our way.

"Mean people suck," Mindy said as I smiled back at her. "I thought she wanted to fight you."

"I wouldn't have let her hurt you," I said as I turned and kissed her.

"I know," Mindy said with a bright smile before she kissed me. "Why I love you."

"You sure must!"

"What does that mean?"

"After what you did to me last night you'd have to," I said as she laughed and covered her mouth.

"You said you loved it," She hissed from behind her hand.

"Every single second of it," I said as she gave me a knowing smile now.

"Are you saying I'm good at that?" She whispered.

"Am I?"

"I asked you first," She said with a playful finger poke.

"You come over tonight and I'll show you," I said as she purred and kissed me. "Deal?"

"Oh yeah..."

"Are you two sluts fucking?"

"What?" Mindy and I asked in unison as we turned to see Maxie coming up from down the hall. "What do you want? Cally?"

"No I do not," Maxie said. "Skank told me she made out with her best friend, Cindy."

"My sister made out with your girlfriend?" Mindy asked Maxie. "Why?"

"Because Cindy looks like you," Maxie said to Mindy.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Mindy asked.

"That you and Cindy are both hot," Maxie said. "Even though she is kinda scary."

"No she's not...actually she is," Mindy babbled as Maxie and I started laughing out loud.

"Shut up," Mindy said as she blushed and covered her face.

"Excuse me?" a very cute black girl asked as she stopped by us.

"Yeah?" Maxie asked.

"I'm lost, totally lost, do you know where the main office is in this bowling alley of a school?" She asked. "I'm Shelby Parker and I'm new here."

"And I'm Maxie Bradlidge and I wanna be your new girlfriend," Maxie said.

"OK, thanks, I think," Shelby said. "Could always use a friend..."

"That's not what she meant," I informed Shelby.

"Shut up, I'll take what I can get," Maxie said as Shelby laughed. "By the way the office is that way. Follow that blue line."

"Thanks," Shelby said with a sweet smile as she walked off and passed Chloe as she came towards us.

"Hi!" Maxie said as she met Chloe with a huge smile. "Miss me?"

"You just left my room like two hours ago," Chloe said as she fished a book out of her locker.

"Oh she did?" I asked.

"She was drunk and passed out on my bed," Chloe said.

"You like it when I get smashed cause I'm funny," Maxie said to Chloe.

"You're not just funny you're hilarious," Chloe said as she giggled and Maxie grinned.

"Yep!" Mindy and I agreed.

"But I don't like it when you drink," Chloe said. "And you sure smell a whole lot better now."

"I know, right?" Maxie asked as Chloe giggled but in classic Maxie style she had to go for the kill, "Actually it was all by accident. I was on my way back to the dorm this morning when a butterfly got after me and chased me into the lake."

"That's stupid...Max...ohmigod," Chloe babbled in between laughs (Mindy and I laughing too). "God that was funny."

"It's really mean of you to laugh," Maxie continued. "It was really scary."

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry...Maxie I won't laugh anymore," Chloe said as she fought her giggles and the bell started ringing for the next period. "Walk me to class?"

"Sure," Maxie said as she walked off with Chloe a moment later.

"Thanks for letting me hang out with you," Mindy said as she munched on a burrito as we sat on the grass outside of the Carlson Center. "I don't care much for being alone."

"Me either," I admitted. "Back home I usually had a bunch of family or friends around to keep me company. But here I pretty much stick to Dakota and or Cindy for company."

"Indy willy ikes ewww," Mindy mumbled with a mouth full of burrito.

"Translation to english please?" I asked as she giggled as she swallowed before trying again.

"Cindy really likes you," Mindy said. "But she's not to crazy about Dakota."

"Actually Cindy is jealous of you," I said as Mindy gave me a surprised look.

"Me?"

"Yeah cause you're in love with Dakota," I said as Mindy smiled smugly.

"First time I ever did anything before Cindy," Mindy said proudly. "But Cindy also thinks Dakota is using me. How do I prove her wrong?"

"Stay with Dakota and show Cindy you love her," I said. "Cindy may be hard headed..."

"She's just like my Dad," Mindy said as she finished her burrito.

"Then it might take her a while longer to except it but she will eventually," I said. "And if she don't I'll beat her up for you."

"Good luck with that dumb plan," Mindy said as I laughed but still poked her in the ribs as revenge. "Hey! Stop that."

"Stop what?" I asked innocently but managed to poke her once more and make her squeal as she crawled away a few feet.

"You better stop!" She said with a finger point as I started after her. "You better stop cause I know Karate, Jujitsu and Taekwondo."

"So? By the time they get here I'll have you tickled pink," I said as she started laughing.

"That's not what I meant," She protested. "Just leave me alone. Please?"

"I thought you wanted me to keep you company?" I asked.

"I do," She said in frustration. "I just don't want you to tickle me anymore. I hate being tickled."

"OK, OK," I said as she grinned. "Wanna make out instead?"

"I think I'd be better off alone," Mindy said as I laughed and looked to see Chloe coming up from the side of the building.

"Hi, Chloe," Mindy said with a wave to get her attention. Chloe coming to join us with a smile.

"Hey guys," Chloe said as she joined us. "I just saw Cindy inside is she coming to join you?"

"I think she was gonna go hit some at the softball field," Mindy said. "It's like her favorite thing."

"Hey maybe that's a way we can get Cindy and Dakota to be friends," I said. "Dakota used to play softball back home."

"And Cindy loves softball," Mindy said excitedly. "You're so smart."

"Sounds like a winner to me," Chloe chirped. "Well I'm off to the library."

"Can I come?" Mindy asked Chloe. "I like sitting in the back and reading."

"I do that too," Chloe said as the two shared a smile. "I need to check my email and all."

"Let Cindy and Dakota know where I went?" Mindy asked me.

"I will," I said as Mindy went to collect her things on the grass and they soon walked off in the direction of the library.

"Hey," Cindy said as I turned to go back inside and look for her. "Where's Mindy?"

"Went with Chloe to the library," I said. "And oh yeah guess what I found out?"

"Dakota likes softball?" Cindy asked and laughed at my shocked reaction. "I was listening earlier. Good cover by asking about Mindy huh?"

"You're sneaky," I said as she laughed. "So you and Dakota playing softball?"

"I guess!" Cindy said. Though I could tell she didn't really want too.
