"Hey, where are you?" I asked as Cally picked up her cell phone.

"About to go into MGH," Cally said. "Why?"

"Did you see Alisha at the softball tryouts?" I asked pretty much knowing that she didn't.

"No, why?"

"She was there," I said. "Said she didn't want you to know cause she didn't want you to miss making the team because of her."

"She was there? Then why the fuck did she quit as team manager?" Cally asked.

"Probably had something to do with the bombshell she dropped on me," I said.

"Go on," Cally said with a tired sigh.

"She said she's leaving school," I said and expected her to offer some kind of reaction but I got virtually none. "Cal?"

"Let her do it," Cally finally said. "She's been stupid for the last month so I'm tired of dealing with her."

"But Cally she's your best friend too," I said.

"No she's not," Cally said. "You are. I'm gonna go, call me later?"

"You know it," I said as we hung up. I was still a little stunned from Cally's comments. Chloe came back around the corner with an ice cream sandwich in her hand. "Cally just told me I'm her best friend."

"You are her wing man so yeah I can see that," she said as she kissed me. The ice cream on her lips tasted really sweet. "MMMMMM."

"Oh yeah," I said as I kissed her again. "Ice cream tastes almost as good as your honey."

"Yeah but my honey is fat free," Chloe said as she slipped happily into my arms as she finished off the ice cream. "So what did Cally say about Alisha leaving?"

"Said let her do whatever she wanted."

"I never thought they'd break up," Chloe said. "I loved Alisha. She seemed so perfect for Cally."

"Until she blamed her for something so retarded and refused to forgive her," I said. "I don't blame Cally."

"Me either," Chloe said as she tossed the ice cream wrapper in the garbage. "Maybe some time apart will do them good."

"I don't see how but maybe," I said as I kissed Chloe one more time. "I love you."

"Where did that come from?" she asked with a smile.

"Because despite all the insanity around us you still love me and I still love you," I said as Chloe smiled.

"I hope we always will," Chloe said as she hugged me. "I love you too!"

~ (FAST EDDIE'S EATS) ~

"I'm really nervous," I said to Mindy as we stood outside of the diner waiting on my Dad and his...partner? Dr. Phillips.

"No reason to be," Mindy said. "You already know Dr. Phillips."

"Yeah some, but what do I call him? Dr. Phillips or Mark?" I asked and was relieved to see that Dad and Dr. Phillips had just pulled up across the street. "Well we're about to find out."

"How about just calling him Dad number two?" Mindy suggested as I laughed and Dad and Dr. Phillips came across the street, trailed by someone in a hoodie with black hair sticking out. "Who's that with them?"

"I have no idea," I said as we met them in front of the door to Sarah/Megan's apartment. The awkwardness Dad spoke of earlier was definitely in the air as they realized I'd brought Mindy. "Hey Dad."

"Hey my girl," Dad said as he put his arm around me. "I thought you and Mindy broke up. Hi sweety."

"Hi, Charles," Mindy chirped as the person in the hoodie lowered the hood and I realized to my disbelief that I recognized her from the batting cages back home in Pittsburgh. Her name was Lori.

"Dakota you remember..."

"Lori?" I asked as she grinned and nodded her head. "What are you doing here?"

"That's Mark's daughter," Dad announced. "You two know each other?"

"We do," Lori confirmed and then asked her father, "You remember that night you dropped me off at the batting cages? I ran into Dakota and introduced myself."

"How did you know Charles even had a daughter?" Mark (Dr. Phillips) asked his daughter.

"Her school picture is on your peg board at the office," Lori explained. "And I knew you were seeing Charles so I thought I'd get an intro before you guys screwed it up. I did. Dakota was super sweet."

"Always is," Mark said. "Nice to see you again, Dakota."

"You too Dr. Phillips," I said.

"Call me Mark," he said as I nodded. Easy enough solution.

"So you guys already know each other?" Dad asked.

"Not really..." I started to say.

"We actually only had time for her to hit on me," Lori said as my mouth dropped open.

"Dakota!" Dad said as he pushed my shoulder playfully. I was so stunned by the accusation that she was able to pile it on a bit more before I could say anything.

"And a little making out," Lori added in as I gave her a dirty look and she smiled smugly. "But I wouldn't let her feel me up."

"That did not...you liar...none of that happened," I stammered and rambled as everyone laughed and I felt like crawling under a rock. "I was still dating Mindy..."

"You cheated on me," Mindy said as she played along.

"UGH," I groaned. "Mark, I'm gonna kill your daughter."

"So funny," Mindy giggled as we went inside a moment later and found a table for five way in the back with Megan as our guide. "Hi Megan."

"Hi cutie," Megan flirted as she arrived at the table with her notepad and a very noticeable addition to her belly. "What'll it be?"

"Well since Dakota is the local shall we let her choose for us?" Mark offered as I smiled at him.

"Five meat loaf plates," Mindy said in place of me. "The stuff is to die for."

"Five all around?" Megan asked as everyone agreed and she headed off to place the order for us.

"Is she knocked up?" Lori asked me.

"That is crude," Mark said to his daughter. "Now knock it off."

"I didn't know she was," Mindy said. "Did you?"

"No, I figured with Maxie's enormous mouth she would have told us about it," I said as Megan came back our way and kinda of got the idea what we were looking at as she stopped by us.

"Yes I'm pregnant," Megan said. "Any other questions?"

"How many months?" Mindy asked as she stood up.

"Almost two," Megan said as she smiled when Mindy hugged her.

"Congratulations!" Mindy said as Megan smiled wider.

"I second that," Mark said as Dad nodded his agreement.

"Thank you," Megan said just as Holly came by and stopped.

"Where they congratulating you on being preggo?" Holly asked.

"Yes they were now go away," Megan said to her friend.

"Who's the baby's daddy?" Lori asked rather randomly.

"She can't decide, it keeps changing," Holly said as everyone laughed nervously.

"Leave her alone," I said as Megan smiled at me.

"I'm actually glad you came in tonight cause I got something I need to tell you," Megan said to me.

"You do?" I asked.

"Here we go again," Holly giggled as Megan put her hand on my shoulder and said seriously, "I think the baby is yours."

"Shut up," I giggled as I pushed her hand away while everyone else laughed.

"Where are you going?" I asked Amy as I came off the elevator with the latest load of laundry.

"Helping Alisha with her luggage," Amy said nervously.

"Where is she moving to?" I asked and thinking briefly she was moving back into our room with Natalie's permission.

"She's going home," Amy said.

"Back to Cally's dorm?" I asked in confusion.

"Omaha, Nebraska," Amy said. "She's leaving school."

"Why is she leaving for?" I asked.

"Cally won't talk to her and you guys won't be her friend..."

"Do you remember she's the one who pushed you down?" I asked.

"Do you remember she apologized and I accepted?" Amy asked. Point taken.

"OK, OK," I said. "What can I do to get her to stay?"

"Nothing," Amy said as she walked off towards Alisha's room. I groaned as I ran back to our room and dumped the laundry inside the door and went to rejoin her just as Alisha came out of the door with several large bags. "You already to go?"

"Yeah I'm so ready it's hard to explain," Alisha said.

"Alisha you don't have to go," I said.

"Yes I do," Alisha said. "I don't have any friends here other than Amy. How weird is that?"

"Very," Amy chirped as her and Alisha shared a laugh.

"Look if you stay and tried I'm sure everyone will forgive you," I said.

"You're Cally's friend not mine," Alisha said. "I thought I could break into the Mintz inner circle but I couldn't."

"I'd really like to know what the hell you're talking about," I said. "The Mintz don't have an inner circle."

"Sure you don't," Alisha said. "I got a flight to catch."

"Fine, whatever," I said as I turned and walked off as Alisha and Amy left in the elevator. "There is just no reasoning with some delusional people."

"SHEL--by...oh there you are," Laney said as I arrived at the door to the Mintz suite. "Cally just called for you."

"Why?"

"She said Alisha just broke up with her over voice mail," Laney said as my bottom lip dropped in shock. "You need to talk to Alisha."

"The crazy bitch just left the state or I would," I said as Laney gave me a confused look. "She just told me she's going home to Nebraska."

"Alisha left?" Maxie asked as she popped her head up over the back of the couch where she lay watching TV.

"Yep,"

"Good," Maxie said as I rolled my eyes.

"Lay back down and watch some TV so us young adults can discuss this like grownups," I said as Laney laughed. Maxie giving me a dirty look.

"So what are you gonna do?" Laney asked.

"Sort the laundry," I said as I picked up the basket and Randi came into the room from down the hall.

"I just saw Alisha leaving the lobby downstairs with a bunch of luggage," Randi said. "Did she get her room back beside Cally?"

"No, the crazy bitch is leaving school and she broke it off with Cally over voice mail," I said from my knees as I started to sort the laundry.

"Cally's single?" Randi asked as a sly smile crossed her face and she looked directly at Laney. "Did you hear that Laney?"

"Yes I heard that," Laney said. "Why don't you go visit her and see if she needs you to cuddle with her."

"I'd rather cuddle with you," Randi said as the two giggled.

"You know if you two wanted a threesome with Cally I'm pretty sure she'd do it," I said randomly and watched them start to laugh out loud. Call me even more confused at that moment.

"No, I can't go to Mintzler cause it's too late in the year to enroll so I'm going to Lincoln Senior high for the rest of the semester," Lori (Phillips) said to Dakota as they came up to pay the bill. "Heartbroken cause I'm not going to Mintzler?"

"I'd hit that Dakota," Megan said as she joined us at the counter. Dakota grinned as Lori gave Megan a certain look. "She's been hinting at it all night."

"I'm..." Lori started to say.

"Madly in love with Dakota?" Megan asked Lori as I laughed.

"Shut up," Lori said as Dakota smacked a high five with a giggling Megan. I rang Dakota's party up as her father and Lori's came up to join the growing crowd at the register. Tony and Harold came out of the kitchen at that moment discussing something in a somewhat heated manner.

"I am telling you that it would sell," Harold said to Tony as he held something in his hand inside a gravy boat.

"I don't think it's good enough to sell in a market," Tony (Romano) said.

"Right here is four random people," Harold said as he picked up four spoons and asked the group, "Would you guys be willing to help me out with a taste test?"

"I think we can," Charles said as Harold handed out the spoons before he had them taste test what turned out to be Tony's gravy. "Very unique flavor."

"That's simply scrumptious," Mark raved.

"Dad's it's good but can you turn down the gay a little bit?" Lori asked as everyone laughed.

"Very good, and very funny," Dakota said as she bumped shoulders with a grinning Lori.

"See," Harold said to Tony. "It's a hit."

"What are you trying to convince him of now Harry?" Megan asked as Dakota and her party made their way out, passing Mel as he came in.

"To let me market his gravy," Harold said. "It's a great idea, right?"

"Just gravy?" I asked. "There's like 40 brands of Gravy on the market already."

"My thoughts exactly," Tony said as Mel joined us.

"What about adding a unique twist to it?" Mel asked.

"Yeah listen to this man," Megan said as she pointed to Harold. "Add some burned eggs and your gravy would sell like crazy."

"You're wrong honey lamb," Mel said to Megan as she giggled. "I was thinking biscuits and gravy."

"I do have a biscuit recipe that may go along with that," Tony commented.

"Biscuits and gravy could be an awesome addition to my brand," Harold said. "Fat Tony's Scrumptious Biscuits and Gravy."

"I don't think anyone will buy a product with the name Fat Tony in it," Tony said.

"Then I'll buy the recipe from you and market it under my label and we can work out some kind of compensation agreement," Harold suggested.

"And what money do you plan to use to do that?" I asked Harold. "You told us you're not gonna be seeing a profit from your Harry's World Famous line for a few months."

"Maybe Mr. Von Krul would be interested..."

"Or maybe I'd be interested in investing," Mel said. "And before my honey lamb, Megan, cracks one of her witty jokes I just wanna say that I am very serious."

"How much are you interested in investing?" Harold asked as I covered Megan's big mouth.

"Why don't we take a walk into the kitchen and see what kind of agreement we can come up with," Mel said as he and Harold shook hands and walked off into the kitchen with Tony. I finally moved my hand off Megan's mouth.

"Now can I say something stupid?" Megan asked as I started laughing.

~ (MINTZLER ADMINISTRATION CENTER) ~

"Hey," I said as Macey got off the elevator on the Executive floor and saw me behind the secretary's desk. She came over and took a seat on the lard bucket beside the President's main door. "You doing OK?"

"I think I get better every day I'm away from my crazy family," Macey said with a smile. "I slept in this morning and missed my first class."

"Macey that's bad," I started to say.

"No it's not," Macey said before going onto explain. "For the first time I dealt with a problem myself. I explained to Miss Walker what happened, took my punishment, extra assignment, and everything turned out OK. My psychotic mother didn't have to come down and make everyone wish I'd never been born. Literally."

"From now on I'm coming to get you up when I leave," I said as she nodded her agreement. "So any more thoughts on...you know?"

"My transgender confusion?" Macey asked as I in turn nodded. "Nope. I just feel so relaxed the last few days that it's not been on my mind much. I guess I'll figure it out over time. I got plenty of it now."

"It'll be a cold day in hell before I darken your door step again David Thornton Oliver," the voice said as the door to Mr. Woods' office flew open and out marched an irate Marshall Higgins, soon followed by an equally irate David (Cally's Dad). "May you, this school and that new good-for-nothing President of yours rot in hell."

"Good riddance to ya," David said defiantly. "And my only regret is that I didn't have the foresight to haul you up in front of the entire school and fire your worthless carcass right then and there. And you can take that useless secretary in the lobby (Ms. Stone) with you cause she's fired too."

"You're making a grave mistake," Marshall warned David.

"Get out of my building, off my land and away from my school," David said in a loud voice. "Even if hell freezes over and the devil gives free sleigh rides I still won't ever wanna see you again."

"That was funny as hell, sir," Macey said as we laughed and Marshall made a hasty exit. David smiled at Macey.

"Thank you," David said proudly as he straightened his tie but couldn't get it right. Macey popped up and adjusted it for him. "Well aren't you the helpful one."

"Before my family completely lost their mind I used to tie my Dad's ties a lot," Macey explained. "Are you someone important?"

"That's Cally's Dad, the guy who runs this place," I hissed to Macey as she suddenly got nervous.

"OH sorry," Macey said.

"Don't be," David said as he checked his tie in the mirror and smiled. "You, young lady, are very talented. It takes me ten minutes to do that."

"Thanks," Macey said. Chi and Anisha emerged from the storage room at that moment. "Do you really run this place?"

"No, I do not," David said. "Mr. Woods is the man you talk to."

"Mr. Oliver we're all done with the files," Chi said. "Anything else we can do?"

"Yeah we still got two hours on the clock," Anisha added.

"Talk to Mr. Woods," David said as he ushered them into his office.

"So you're an important business man?" Macey asked David.

"I do have business dealings in the four corners of the world," David said as she sat back down on her lard bucket. "Why are you in need of a job?"

"Kinda, yeah," Macey said. "But not for the reason you think."

"Why would you need a job?" David asked.

"I wanna get away from my parents," Macey said. "And Hana did some research for me and found out that I need a job if I wanna do that."

"How are you planning to get away?" David asked with a concerned look.

"I wanna try and be emancipated," Macey said.

"Young lady that is a very bold step," David warned.

"Thanks Mr. Woods," Anisha said happily as her and Chi came out of the office as he followed them. "We'll get to work right now."

"What job did you give them now you slave driver," I asked Mr. Woods as everyone else started laughing I blushed and covered my face in shame. "That sounded so wrong."

"Pretty funny too," Macey said as she pushed my shoulder.

"I'm sorry..."

"She does this all the time," Mr. Woods laughed.

"I do not and I take back my sorry," I protested as everyone laughed again.

"Mr. Woods I do think we have a very serious issue concerning one of your students," David said as he motioned to Macey. "Shall we move back to your office and discuss it?"

"Well of course," Mr. Woods said as the three of them disappeared back inside the office and I went to answering the phones, as usual.

~ (KELLER-MONTGOMERY HALL, CHLOE'S ROOM) ~

"What?" I asked as I opened the door and saw Mindy standing there in her ever present 'Property of...' t-shirt and apparently nothing else.

"The power is out in my room," Mindy said. "Are you having any problems?"

"No," I said. "It's really out?"

"Yeah it's totally dark," Mindy said as I followed after her down the hall and my eyes glued to the part of her tanned little ass that was showing, still wondering if she was wearing undies, "Yes I'm wearing undies."

"Like I care," I said as we reached her room. "And you're right it is dark."

"I'm totally screwed," Mindy said as I tested the lights and found it was dead. "Maggie's in bed with a headache, Molly is too?"

"Yeah she had a long day," I said. "And Maggie's in bed?"

"She had a bad headache," Mindy said. "What am I gonna do?"

"Get your blanket and crash with me," I said as Mindy smiled. "If you promise to keep your hands to yourself."

"Not a chance," Mindy said as she rubbed my butt and grinned knowingly. Making my pussy come to life in an instant as I pushed her hand away. "Stop that."

"You groped me a couple of days ago," Mindy reminded me as she got her blanket. "That was pay back."

"You're right it was and I think we should do this payback thing a lot more," I said as I reached down and tickled the back of Mindy's thigh below her butt as she giggled and jumped away squealing. I walked off laughing.
