Jenny and Lou were best friends. Nobody at Polk High where they attended school as juniors could tell you why though. Maybe it was the famed attraction between opposites that was so highly touted in stories. Jenny was a sultry, sexy blonde. Athletic (she had a black belt in karate), popular (always knowing what to say or do at social gatherings of all types), beautiful (5'7", 36C-26-36, a total stunner). Lou was small for a man (5'8"), slight of build (weighing maybe 150 lbs including clothes), smart (straight A student), and very unpopular. Although Lou was good at a lot of sports, he wasn't good enough at any one of them to stand out, particularly in comparison to the jocks of the Varsity teams. Lou was also the target of the stronger, faster, more athletic boys because he was one of those boys who amongst adults, was referred to as "an artistic lad", a boy who liked poetry readings and soft, romantic movies. Trouble was, amongst his peers he was just "that sissy boy". Not that anyone called him that in public, at least not where it would get back to Jenny (who could whip any boy in school without breaking a sweat). Of course, that only made it worse in the locker room and bathrooms where no girls were around to tell Jenny what had happened. Perhaps to his credit (at least amongst the boys) whenever Lou got his nose bloodied, he never told Jenny who did it. Although their outward differences ran deep, their greatest differences sprang from their personalities. Lou was a calm, sedate conformist. A boy who followed the rules and always tried to do what was right. At least that was how he would've been described until Jenny had moved into town a couple years ago. Jenny was, amongst her peers, a "fun gal". Amongst adults, she was a trouble magnet. Oh, everybody admitted that she never tried to get into trouble. She just had this... knack for drawing trouble to her. And since she was a very persuasive person, she was usually able to talk Lou into being with her when trouble hit. It was Friday afternoon, and, like all Friday afternoons, Jenny was at Lou's house. "Forget it!" Lou said. "Oh, come on, the invitation says I can bring a friend. And everybody knows you're my best friend." "First off, I never have fun at parties. I don't fit into any of the cliques, and none of the girls are interested in me. Which means that I'm going to wind up spending the night sitting in a corner watching everybody else have fun. Secondly, when I come into school Monday morning, the first time I go to use the bathroom, I'm gonna get waylaid by the jocks who want to punish me for daring to attend one of the "popular parties". So, all in all, I think I'll pass." "Look, just tell me who's beating on you, and I'll take care of them." "Yeah, and then the next time, someone grabs me from behind, shoves my head in a toilet, gives me a few swirlies, and disappears. All without me seeing their faces. It's bad enough that you beat on people when you find out about it. At least this way I see them coming and, if I've got the time, get out of their way." Jenny fumed. Then she got an idea. She knew that this would take all her persuasive skills to get Lou to agree. "I know how you could attend the party and no one would know." "Yeah? How?" "We just dress you up as somebody else." "Right. No matter what clothes I wear, I'm still gonna be seen as that geeky little sissy boy." "Oh, I don't know. A little make-up, the right clothes, no one will know it's you." "Yeah, even if that's true, I'm still me and I can't pretend to be anyone else. So instead of being the same old geeky little sissy boy, I'll just be that new geeky little sissy boy." "Well, there is one thing about your disguise that I haven't told you about." "What?" "Did you know that all those things that make you an outcast among boys, your small size, your artistic temperament, your good grades, are not only expected, but also encouraged in girls?" "Yeah, but what's that got to do with... OH, NO! NO! No, no!" Damn. She kept forgetting how quick he was and would've liked a little longer to try to sell him on the idea. "Oh, come on!" "You are NOT going to dress me up like a girl!" "Geez, you'd think I was asking you to rob a bank!" "THAT I might consider! Do you know what'll happen to me if I go in a dress and the boys at that party get the slightest idea it's me?" "Who's gonna know? We put you in a dress, heels, stockings, a wig. No one will know what's underneath." "Puh-lease. There are more differences between men and women than just the way we dress." "Yeah, but you're a fast learner. And we've got nine days." "Not even if we had a month!" "Come on. For the first time in your life, you have a chance to know what it's like to be popular." Jenny could see his resolve weakening. "You go in. You sit and look pretty. You talk about art and poetry. The girls'll listen and the boys will hang on your every word, mostly because they're dogs and want you to think they're really interested, but they'll pay attention to you." "I don't know..." "Look, let's go to this party as two girl cousins. If you decide, at any point after, say, a half hour, you want to leave, we'll leave. No questions asked." "I..." Lou sighed. "Alright." "Yes." "But I've got a bad feeling about this." "What could go wrong?" "Have you ever realized that you ask that just before you get me in the most trouble?" "You worry too much. So tomorrow, bright and early, you come over to my house ad we'll get started. Say, 8 AM?" "Okay." "It'll be great. You'll see." *************** THE NEXT DAY IN JENNY'S ATTIC... "Why do I have to wear a corset? Or for that matter, where'd you get a corset in the first place?" "It's from mom's wedding outfit. She is such a traditionalist that she wore it for the ceremony, but then stuffed it away with the rest of her stuff. Ever since she and dad broke up, she hasn't even opened the trunk she keeps it in." One thing that both Jenny and Lou had in common was that they were the children of divorcees, and both lived with their mothers. Another thing was that neither child had much in common with their own parent. Which meant that each kid had lots in common with the other's parent, and was always a welcome sight around the house. "Okay, but why do I have to wear it?" "You don't HAVE to wear it. But if you do, your waist gets shrunk in, and your hips and bust will be accentuated. It'll make you look a lot less like a boy." "I don't know..." "Look, you've got what, a 30 waist?" "28" "The corset should take you down to 24 or 22. Maybe even a 20. With a tiny little waist like that, no one will suspect you're really a boy." "Okay. But why today? Couldn't we put that off to the very end?" "You've got to get used to dressing and walking like a woman, and that means full regalia. You don't want to look suspicious because of some new tightness that you didn't know about and weren't used to, do you?" "Okay. Okay." "Now get undressed." Lou stripped down to his underwear. He used to be really shy about being this undressed around Jenny, but one of her favorite past times was sneaking into the bathroom and surprising him just to see the look on his face. After he was stripped down, Jenny helped him into the corset, pulling it tight. Lou stood up and turned around. He grabbed and pulled at the loose breast cups on the corset. "What are we gonna do about these?" Jenny got a box and opened it up. "We use these." "Do I even want to know where you got a pair of breastforms?" "Oh, stop being so suspicious. My aunt had a mastectomy about five years back. She needed to use a breastform to look normal until she could afford the reconstructive surgery, which she finally got two and a half years ago. But she got two breastforms so that she'd always have a spare. After she got the reconstructive surgery, these got packed away with our stuff, and just came along for the ride when we moved here." "Put 'em in." Jenny slipped the breastforms into the corset's bra cups and stepped back to take a look. "It doesn't look right." Lou looked at himself in the mirror. "The breastforms shifted when you put 'em in. We can take care of it the next time by putting the breastforms in before tightening the corset." "I suppose." Jenny got out a pair of panties. "Why do I have to wear those? Nobody's going to be seeing my underwear." "Correction. You don't intend to let anyone see your underwear. But you'll also be wearing a skirt, and boys have this tendency of trying to look up a lady's skirt." Lou blushed. Having tried to look up more than a few skirts himself, it was a point he couldn't very well argue. He took the panties, waited for Jenny to turn around, and put on the panties. As he did, Jenny called back, "Tuck your penis and balls between your legs. It'll reduce the bulge down to a mound in your panties." After he was into them, he said, "How do I look?" Jenny turned around. "Looks great! You have a real knack for this! Ever done it before?" She gave Lou a conspiratorial wink. "Don't tease like that." "Sorry. Now let's get those legs shaved." "No." "Now you agreed to go all the way." "And I will shave Friday afternoon after classes. But I still have to go through another week of undressing in front of the guys before gym. I'm dreading the Monday after the party." "Good point. That just means you'll have to be extra careful putting the stockings on, so as to avoid getting any runs in them." "But why do I have to wear stockings anyhow? You don't." "I do wear stockings when I go to nice parties like this. In heels, a stockinged leg is very attractive. I just don't like the hassle of putting the damn things on. But you need the practice. So..." "Alright, Alright. So how do I put these silly things on anyways?" "Roll them down into donuts with the toe just sticking out. Push your foot inside, then roll them back up your legs, keeping them tight. Make sure to keep the seams straight or you'll have to start all over again." Lou sat down, and, following her directions, managed to get the stockings on and looking correct on the first try. Without any prompting, he hooked the stockings to the elastic straps hanging from the base of the corset. He stood up. "What's next?" "Next is the dress." Jenny got a dress of hers out, a simple floral print, and helped Lou into it. After zipping him up she looked at him. "Nice." Lou looked at himself in the mirror. From the neck down, a pretty young thing looked back at him. However, his head and face was still his and kind of ruined the image. "Do you have the wig?" Jenny smiled. She took the long blonde wig and carefully positioned it on his head. Lou kept his hair short, so hiding it under the wig was no big deal. After it was on, he tried to look in the mirror, but Jenny wouldn't let him. "Not yet." She grabbed her make-up kit, and sat him down. "Your face still looks a little too masculine. Not badly so, but enough to make you look bad in the wig. But with a skillful application of make-up, we'll take the hard edge off and having you looking like a proper lady in no time. Luckily you don't have a beard, yet. Otherwise we'd have to shave you first." After a few minutes, Jenny stepped back and said, "Okay, now you can look." Lou looked and was amazed. Except for the light hair on the arms, the figure looking back was a girl! And a pretty one at that. Not as good looking as Jenny, but that girl wouldn't be hurting in the boyfriend department. "Well," Jen asked, "what do you think, Louise?" "What? What'd you call me?" "Louise. We can't very well be calling you Lou at the party, can we? So I just figured, Lou, Louise." "No. Not Louise." "Why not?" "Because that's what the boys are fond of calling me when they taunt me. Besides it's too close to my own name. I don't want to give any hints to my real identity." "So what name do you want?" Lou thought about it. "Theresa." "Alright, Theresa, what do you think?" "I'm a very pretty Theresa." "Yes, you are. Now comes the hard part." "What?" Jenny got a shoe box out. "Teaching you to walk in heels." They got him into the shoes, and then taught him to walk. He stumbled a bit before getting into the habit of placing his foot down flat and taking smaller steps as he walked. Even after he got to the point where he could walk without falling over, Jenny wasn't happy. "What's wrong?" he asked. "You're still taking steps that are too big. And now that you're used to it, you're starting to expand your gait again." "Sorry. Walking this way is a habit." "We need to find a way to break that habit." "How?" "I don't know." They thought about it for a while. "I've got it," Lou said. "Do you still have that long silk scarf?" "Sure." "Go get it." Jenny was a little confused, but went to her room and got the scarf. She returned and handed it to Lou. Lou sat down, and tied the scarf around his legs just above the knees. He stood and started walking. With the scarf holding his legs together, taking large steps was impossible. "There. After a week of walking like this, taking small steps should be second nature to me." Jenny hugged him. "I think you're really gonna pull this off. In fact, I think Theresa is going to be the bell of the ball." ***************** ONE WEEK LATER, SUNDAY NIGHT, THE NIGHT OF THE PARTY... "Well, Theresa, you ready?" In the softer, higher pitched voice Lou had trained himself to use when in a dress, he said, "As ready as I'll ever be." They walked together to the front door of Eliza's house where the party was being thrown and knocked. Eliza opened the door. "Jenny, welcome! And who is this?" "This is my cousin Theresa. She's in town for the weekend and I decided to bring her along to the party." Eliza hugged Lou, a.k.a. Theresa. "Welcome." She looked to Jenny. "I thought for sure, you'd invite that shlub, Lou. I'm glad you brought her along. For the life of me, I don't see what you see in that geek." "Don't start with that again, Eliza." "Alright. It's just you and your cousin tonight anyways. Come on in, and have some fun." They went inside. Lou whispered to Jenny, "So now what?" Jenny whispered back, "Find a group where people are talking, listen in, and when you feel you have something to contribute, speak up." They were soon standing in a group where they were discussing one of the latest movies that had been released. One of the girls said, "I don't know. It was a nice movie, but there was something about it that was... I'm not sure how to put it. But it was just wrong." Lou said, "Camera angles." He had intended to whisper it, but he was feeling a little too comfortable, and had spoken a little louder than intended just as a lull in the conversation had cropped up. "What was that, hun?" Realizing that he was in the spotlight, he decided to take a chance and speak his mind. "Well, I always felt that they used the wrong camera angles in that movie in a lot of places. Take the final confrontation between the protagonist and the villain over the girl. They used an elevated wide angle shot, I guess to give a sense of the grand finale. They should've instead used a series of close-ups on the individual actors. That way, they would've imparted the intense emotional state of the characters." "Yeah. That's it. So tell me, did you happen to catch the amateur film festival on the Arts & Entertainment channel last month?" "Wouldn't miss it. Catch it every year." "So tell me, what did you think of the film that won for best short?" "A political decision. It was awarded simply because the main character died before the release. Oh, not that it was a bad movie, but there was no way anyone with a sense of taste could've considered that the best film of the festival." "My feelings exactly." The girl took Lou by the arm and started discussing the film festival in depth. As Jenny tried to keep up with the conversation, she realized she was out of her depth, and in a moment when she was distracted, Lou disappeared. She looked around the room, until she saw him across the room, a bunch of people hanging around "her" as he laughed coquettishly, still playing the part. Confident that he was okay, she settled in to having some fun herself. Later in that evening, she was getting a glass of punch when Larry Kirby, one of the few nice jocks, came up to her and asked, "What are you still doing here?" "What's that supposed to mean?" "Well, I just figured you'd leave when your cousin did." Jenny dropped her cup. "What? What are you talking about?" "You didn't know? She ran out of here about a half hour ago. I'm pretty sure she was crying, too." Jenny went straight for the door at a dead run, pushing people out of the way as she went. She ran straight home to the attic where they had created Theresa. She found Theresa's clothing scattered about. And from the state it was in, Lou had been none too careful in taking it off. The corset looked like it had been ripped from his body, the breastforms left where they had fallen. Lou's old clothes were, of course, gone. She grabbed the phone and called Lou. His mother answered. "Hello?" "Miss Waters? It's Jenny. Is Lou there? I need to speak to him." "Well he seemed pretty upset when he came in. He ran straight to his room without stopping to say hi. I'll see if he's ready to talk." Miss Waters didn't cover the receiver as she yelled out, "Lou, it's Jenny!" Then Jenny heard something which hurt her. She heard Lou yell back, "TELL HER I DIED!" After a few seconds, Miss Waters said to her, "I'm sorry, dear. Lou doesn't seem up to talking right now. What happened tonight? I've never seen him so distraught." "I wish I knew, Miss Waters. I wish I knew." ******************* THE NEXT DAY, AT SCHOOL... Jen had tried to meet Lou at his house and walk to school with him, as they did every day, but he had already left. She ran to school, hoping to catch him on the way, but didn't see him. When she got to school, she saw Lou packing his books into his locker. "Lou!" she called out, but he acted as though he didn't hear her. As she approached, he got the books for his first class, closed his locker, and started to walk away. Jenny put her hand on his arm, stopping him. "Lou, are you okay?" Without looking back, he said, "Yeah, fine. Why do you ask?" "You're... so cold to me." "Why should you care what I feel?" That had hurt her more than anything else. "Lou, how could you say that?" She dropped her voice to a whisper. "What happened last night?" Lou's entire body tensed up. He shrugged his arm violently, throwing her hand off of him. Angrily, he yelled, "WHY DON'T YOU ASK YOUR FRIENDS?!" and stormed off. Jenny was stunned. In the entire two years she had known him, Lou had never raised his voice in anger. Ever. She had to find out what had happened. Who was it that Lou had been talking with when they got separated? Oh, yeah, Tracie, the girl with the passion for movies. She skipped her first class and went to the art department where Tracie had her first class. She found out that Tracie was in the theater screening a film. She went to the theater and went inside. The theater was dark except for the light from the screen, but Tracie was the only one inside, and, thus, easy to find. She came down and sat beside Tracie. Tracie briefly looked at Jen before returning her attention to the screen. "Hey, Jen, what's up?" "Trace, last night something happened to my cousin, something pretty bad, and now she won't talk to me. What happened last night?" "Well, she seemed fine when I left her." "Well, what was she doing when you left her?" "Let's see. Jack had just asked me to dance, but when I left her, she and... Elaine I think it was, had gotten into a debate as to the superiority of Impressionist over Surrealist styles of art as regards to expressing the hidden desires of the subconscious. To be honest, it was way beyond me." "Thanks." Jen took off to find Elaine. But from Elaine she was pointed to Samantha, on to Janine, and on through many others. Theresa had indeed, been the bell of the ball. It took her till noon to find the final stage in the series of people Theresa had impressed last night. It was Eliza, the hostess of the party, who provided the clue. "Well, she had just helped me through a rough spot I was having with my Algebra. I went off to do some hostess stuff, but when last I saw her, she and my brother, Travis, were headed to the dance floor. I remember because I thought it was such a pity that she had hooked up with such a sleaze." "Travis?" Travis was the worst sleaze-ball in the school. Problem was, Lou knew nothing about that. Amongst the other guys, no one cared for Travis, but none of them knew just how bad he was. She took off looking for Travis. She found him in the gym, amongst some of the other jerks he hung out with, watching the school basketball team practice. "Travis!" The entire gym froze at the sound of her voice. She walked up and confronted him. "What the hell went on with you and my cousin last night?" Travis just smiled. "Let's just say I got to know her real up close and personal." "What's that supposed to mean?" Despite being an athletic, strong man, Travis was not a "jock", nor was he one of the people who constantly harassed Lou, and since the top athletes in the school didn't like to advertise the fact that Jen could knock any one of them silly, he had no idea just how dangerous Jen was. If he had, he might not have responded to the question by saying, "Let's just say that I found out that she had a powerfully nice and wet mouth last night. Nice and hot." "You... forced her to suck you off?" Admittedly, Travis was no rocket scientist, but you'd've figured that he would've noticed something was wrong when every jock in the gym started moving away from him. Some slow, some fast, but ALL moved away from him. But, nope, he responded to that question by saying, "Oh, the little tramp wanted it. I could tell." A few people who were looking right at it saw Jen's hand clench into a fist, but Travis never saw it coming. The doctor who treated him later determined that with the one punch, Jen had shattered his jaw. It was three months before he was able to even consider solid food. Jen ran from the gym. She had to find Lou. She had to find him now! The principal stopped her in the hall. "Miss Lawrence! Where's the fire?" "Please, Mr. Jackson, I've got to find Lou Waters. Do you know where he is?" "I had to send him home." "What? Why?" "Apparently he started a fight in the bathroom." "Lou?" "I was surprised as you were. But even he admitted it." "What happened?" "Some of the jocks that have been harassing him cornered him in the bathroom, started teasing him, and, I guess, the pressure just got to him. He took one of the garbage cans and just hauled off and clocked the captain of the football team with it. The others who were with him were so surprised that they just stood there and watched as Lou jumped on him and started pounding the tar out of him. It took everything I had just to pull him off." "Don't you know how those boys have been treating him up to now?" "Yeah, and if I'd ever had proof, I'd've suspended the lot of 'em. It was only that previous history combined with Lou's previous record that convinced me not to suspend him for three days, as School District statutes recommend for the first time caught fighting." "I got to talk to him." "You can't leave campus." Jen fumed a bit. "Mister Jackson. I just started a fight with Travis Beckman. Clocked him a hard one." "Well, since you confessed, I guess I can forgo the usual suspension. But I will have to call your mom, and send you home for the rest of the day." "Thanks, Mr. Jackson." *********************** LATER THAT DAY, AT LOU'S HOUSE... Lou walked into the house, depressed. Not that he was worried about what his mom would say. Hell, for finally fighting back against those bullies, she'd probably take him out for dinner. He was depressed about Jenny. How could she have left him alone at that party last night? Particularly dressed as he was? Or at least warned him of who he should've avoided. He had tried to say no, but he couldn't fight back. Travis was too strong, too quick, and when he threatened to rip the dress from Lou's body, Lou had complied. After he was finished, Lou had run from the house in tears. Stopping on his way back to Jen's house only long enough to throw up. After Mr. Jackson had sent him home, he had taken the long way home, walking through the park, trying to clear his mind. He finally got home, only to find it empty. The phone machine had one message on it. Lou played it, it was the principal leaving a message to his mom that he had sent Lou home early for fighting. Lou left the message on the machine and went upstairs to wait for his mom to get home. He walked into his room and closed the door behind him. As he walked towards the bed, he heard from behind him, "Lou." He turned. Jen had been hiding behind the door, and had now positioned herself between him and the door. He turned away from her. "What do you want?" "I talked to my friends. I found out what happened. I am SO sorry. If I'd've had any idea, I'd never have left you alone." Jen couldn't see it, but Lou's eyes were starting to tear up. "Why did you bring me to the party in the first place? Why did you insist that I come with you?" Jen stepped up behind him and wrapped her arms around him. He made no attempt to get away, but also made no attempt to reciprocate. "Lou, every time we're together, and one of my friends comes up and invites me to a party or something, then mentions, almost as an afterthought, 'Oh, you can bring your little friend along, too,' I see how much it hurts you. I see how much you want to be a part of my world, and I want to share it with you." "Why? Why are you even my friend?" "Lou, a few months ago, you asked me why women all seem to be such hypocrites. You asked why they all say they want a kind, sensitive man, but always seem to go for the super-jock first when given a choice. Remember?" "Yeah. You said you didn't know. You had no explanations." "Lou, I want a kind, sensitive man for my boyfriend, and, of all the things I've done, I have never said one thing, then done another." Lou turned in her arms to face her. "You want... me for a boyfriend? Why?" She looked into his eyes. "Do you remember when you were learning to walk in heels, I said you were expanding your gait?" Lou nodded. "Before I met you, I would've said that a gait was just that thing in the fence you walked through to get into the yard." Lou had to smile at that. "Before I met you, I never had an interest in poetry readings, or art exhibits, or even my grades. To be honest, I started being nice to you because I kind of felt sorry for you, but you've given me so much; you've shown me a whole new world. I just wanted to do the same for you." Lou was flabbergasted and speechless. Jenny took that opportunity to lean forward and kiss him. It took him a few seconds, but he eventually responded and returned the kiss. She slid her hands underneath his shirt and pulled it from his body. He was wondering how far she was going to take this, when she whispered in his ear, "Help me out of my clothes." He was shocked. He managed to whisper, "I've never done this before." She said, "Neither have I." He started to help her out of her clothes. When she was down to her panties and bra, he said, "Wait, I don't have a condom." "Don't worry. Mom insists I carry a supply in my purse. And I've been on the pill since I was 13." "She sounds cool." "Nope. Just freaked that I might get pregnant on her." They undressed each other. Lou carefully laid Jen back on the bed as he slowly explored every inch of her body, stroking her legs, abdomen, breasts, then finally working his way back down and fingering her cunt. Her own hands found his cock and slowly stroked it from his semi-hard state to rock hard. He then leaned forward and kissed and licked her cunt (finding that he really liked the taste of her). She moaned, arching her back, and shoving her cunt into his face. After a few seconds of this, she said, "Stick it in me. I want you inside me." "Where are the condoms?" "I don't care about the damned condoms!" Lou shook his head. "No way. It's safe sex or no sex." Jenny uttered a cry of despair. Had she not been so excited, she might've been able to convince him to take her condomless, but as it was, she had trouble even thinking straight. She sat up, looking for her purse. "It's over there, by the door where I was hiding." Lou saw the purse, got it, found the condoms, ripped open a package and put one on. He came back to the bed, lay on top of her and slowly guided his rod into her waiting cunt. He reached the point of resistance which was her hymen. He tried to take it gently, but it was no use. Gentle wasn't going to do it. "Ram it into me," she said. "Take my virginity." Lou pulled back until he was almost loose of her, then, in one mighty thrust, rammed himself home, ripping her hymen wide open. She let out a cry of mingled despair and release. He lay there, waiting for her to recover. He didn't have to wait long and soon she was moving underneath him. He reciprocated and soon they were moving together, not just having sex, but making love. That was the first time for both of them, and amazingly, they came together that first time. Afterwards, they lay together in the afterglow, kissing and holding each other until they fell asleep in each others' arms. ***************** TWO HOURS LATER... When Lou woke up, Jenny had already been awake for a little while, and he awoke to see her smiling face. He would've been content to gaze at her for hours, and might have done just that had he not heard his mother's voice downstairs. "Crap!" "Is that you, Lou? Why don't you and Jen get cleaned up and come on down here with us?" They looked at each other, and said simultaneously, "Us?" >From down below, Jen heard her mom's voice. "I hope you used protection." To which she could only respond, "Crap!" They got cleaned up, and went downstairs, Jen in Lou's robe, Lou in his pants, expecting to get yelled at by their parents. What they got surprised both of them. Lou's mother started with, "Way to go, sport." Jenny's mom just asked, "Did you use protection?" Jenny gave her mom a confused look. "Yeah, but you seem to be taking this in stride." Lou's mom said, "Oh, please, like we haven't seen this coming for the last year and a half." Jenny's mom said to Jenny, "When we got the call from your principal, saying that you had been sent home for fighting, but you never showed up at home, we figured you were back here together. So we rushed here to find you two asleep together in bed, and figured you had finally done the deed. And, Jennifer, I couldn't be happier at who you chose." Jenny blushed. Lou's mom said, "Why don't you two go upstairs and get dressed. We'll go out for dinner." Jenny and Lou walked out together, his arm around her shoulders. After they were out of earshot, Jenny said, "I just realized something." "What's that?" "I've got a boyfriend that my mother approves of. How totally uncool." Lou laughed. "You're not thinking of breaking up with me already, are you?" "No. It's just kind of... creepy." They walked a little further, and Lou stopped. He turned back and looked at the kitchen where their parents were. "What is it?" Jen asked. "Your mom said, 'We' were at her house. I'm assuming she meant my mom and her by we." "Yeah?" "What was my mom doing at your mom's house?" Jenny shrugged. "She heard the message from the principal and when you didn't show up, she went looking for you." "No. She'd've played the message back and erased it if that were the case. The message was unplayed when I got home. You don't suppose they're... doing something... illicit, do you?" "Not a chance." "How can you be so sure?" "Please. Our moms have been carrying on a secret lesbian affair for the past two years? Do you know how cool that would be?" "So?" "My mom doesn't do cool. If she were more like your mom, maybe. But, no, my mom doesn't do cool. Never has, never will." Lou gave a short laugh. "I suppose." As they walked away, had they been paying attention, they would've heard Jen's mom say, "Stop that. The kids are just in the next room." And Lou's mom respond with, "I'm happy. I want to kiss my girlfriend. Is that so wrong? Now pucker up, or I'm going right upstairs and telling our kids what we've been doing for the last year and a half while waiting for them to get together." "You wouldn't dare!... Okay, you would dare," followed shortly thereafter by the sounds of kissing. ---------- All comments, suggestions, etc. may be sent to me at jrdss@micronet.net ---- Copyright 1999 by the author of this message.
