Mom just got done feeding me my formula I was 2 months old and this I get
from mom telling and retelling the story of her meeting Sally's mom
Allison/

She was about to put me down for my morning nap after burping me and
changing my diaper when she heard a truck back into the neighboring house
and saw a car park on the road and saw a man get out and run over to the
passenger side help a very pregnant woman get out.

She said," Hi my name is Cindy Williams are you my new neighbors?"

The very pregnant woman said," Hi I'm Allison and this is my husband Mark
He has just got a job as manager at the loan department at 1st National
Bank.."

He said," Hi how are you?"

Allison said," Ignore him he has been so stressed thinking I was going to
give birth on the way. So you are our neighbors and that is a cute boy you
have in your arms."

Mom said," Thank you he is a couple of months old.  Be ready for a lack of
sleep."

Allison laughed," These last months I forgot what sleep is so I am
already."

Allison and mom laughed.

" So have you found out much about your baby?"

She said," Yes she is a girl and her name is going to be Sally."

Mom said," Short and pretty I like that."

Mom said," You can come over."

Allison said," Thanks but I want to at least put the kitchen wares away."

Mom said," Let me put John down for his nap and I will help you."

Allison said," I can't take you away from your son."

Mom said," I will have my baby monitor with me and besides he will be out
for 2 hours."

Mom put me in the crib and she said I would immediatly go to sleep.

She walked out and went to Allison's new house and Allison was kneeled on
the kitchen floor cutting the tape off one of the boxes.

Mom said," You are like me I would never let him put away the stuff in the
kitchen."

She laughed and said," You too are smart."

Mark walked over smiling and said," I am sorry about my manners."

Mom said," Oh no you greeted me and you had a lot on your mind."

One of the movers bumped something and Mark ran out of the house.

Mom laughed and said," Poor Mark he is a nervous wreck."

Allison laughed and said," You should have seen him when I showed any signs
of discomfort I mean 6 times in 50 miles he kept trying to take the exit to
a hospital."

Mom laughed and said," No."

Allison said," Yes, I kept trying to tell him that pregnancy is
uncomfortable and he would have to get used to it."

Mom and Allison burst out laughing.

Mom asked," So when are you due?"

Allison said," In about 3 weeks."

Mom asked," Do you have an OB/Gyn here?"

She said," Yes Dr. Schwitzer."

Mom said," Oh he is good he delivered John.  You will be in excellent
hands."

Allison said," Great.  I have an appointment with him next week."

Mom said," You will like him he will be very attentative to you and your
daughter's health care needs."

The next thing that happened I woke up and started crying according to mom.

She said," I have to go John is awake and after you get settled in and you
want to come over for coffee and what not the door is always open for
you.."

Allison said," Thank you I will and thank you for your help I have gotten
so much done because of your help."

Mom said," You are very welcome but I love having a good neighbor moving
next door and I want to see Sally after she is born."

Allison said," Can I have your number?"

Mom said," Sure."

Mom quickly wrote down our number on a piece of paper and put it on the
counter.

Allison said," I will put it down in our phone and address book and thank
you again."

Mom said," No, thank you for being a new friend."

Mom walked back to the house and picked me up from the crib and checked my
diaper and put me back in my crib and started the wind up toy and I fell
back to sleep at least that is what mom told me.

This is how things started and I will skip ahead 4 years on the next
chapter where Sally and I really got to know each other.
