I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I wish it really happened to me! –––––––––––––––––––– Every day that passed increased my desire for Jessica. I was not in a hurry to find a wife but I found my mind returning to thoughts of us spending our lives together. It seemed ironic that I had never thought about marriage with any other woman, but I found myself thinking about a life together with a woman who might not even be able to marry. Whether she could marry or not, I felt I knew I had to tell her how I really felt about her. Jessica entered the room and said, "you look like you have something really important on your mind – care to share?" "It is very important," I said, "and I would like to share it with you. Jessica sat next to me and smiled, saying, "ok, go ahead." "Jessica dear, I'm really nervous about this, and don't want to rush things," I said, taking her hand, "I love you, Lady Jessica" Jessica squeezed my hand as tears streamed down her face. "I'm so sorry, dear," I said, "I didn't mean to hurt you." "You didn't hurt me," she said, "you've made me very happy." "I guess I just don't understand women," I confesssed. "I suppose tears can be confusing," she said, "the truth is that I have loved you all along, but I was afraid that you could never love someone like me." "Anyone like you?" I queried, "I think I know what you mean by that, but I love YOU – YOU the person, not what you are." Jessica kissed me and I held her close to me. We went to a movie and then out for dinner. I asked her if she would be able to marry and she said, "that is really sweet of you, but don't get your hopes up. I am legally still male, and our state does not allow same-sex marriage." "I don't want a same-sex marriage," I said, "I want a normal boy-girl marriage." Jessica squeezed my hand and said, "that may be complicated." Changing the subject, we discussed how important it would be to remain discrete at work. While office romances were not prohibited, they were definitely frowned upon and could be very awkward. We agreed that we would stay apart at work, and when we were in a meeting together we would sit apart, and avoid interaction. Just the same, I would be very difficult to avoid thinking of holding and kissing Jessica. At work we were approaching the annual summer shutdown week in which most employees were expected to take vacation time. We could both be off at the same time without it being a "coincidence". We decided to take a vacation together and visit the lakes in upstate New York. We discretely planned our vacation, ready to leave Saturday morning. While our plane tickets were in our individual names, the hotel reservation was in my name alone – as if Jessica were my wife. I really liked the thought of that. On the plane we sat together and discussed the days ahead. Jessica said she had a surprise for me when we arrived. After checking into the hotel and unpacking our luggage Jessica excused herself and returned wearing a stunning two-piece bathing suit. I admired the way she filled out the bikini, and her buns looked wonderful in the swimsuit bottom. I was surprised at how smooth and flat she was in front, and I asked her about it. "It's a gaff," Jessica explained, "it pulls my parts close to my body so I can be flat, like a real girl." "You ARE a REAL GIRL," I reminded her, kissing her, "doesn't it hurt?" "Not usually," she said, "although sometimes when I shift position while sitting it hurts my balls a little." That gave me an idea which I had to research later. We went swimming together and I loved to see Jessica swimming in her new swimsuit. She was the most beautiful woman in the world to me. After swimming, we had a late dinner and retired to our room. While Jessica relaxed and read one of her books I did some internet research. I searched for information on legal gender marker change in our state. We had thought that full Gender Reassignment Surgery (GRS) would be required, and neither of us were very enthusiastic about that. As I searched, I found that the legal requirement was to have "irreversible medical treatment or procedure to change gender". That gave us a little latitude. I read about an orchiectomy, which is like a castration, but used on the way to sex change. At one time the very idea of ball removal would make me cringe, but I thought it might be something Jessica would be open to. I discussed the orchiectomy with Jessica, and she really liked the idea, because it would make it more comfortable when she wore the gaff, and would eliminate testosterone from her system, allowing the female hormones she was taking to be fully effective. "In addition it is irreversible," I added "so it may satisfy the legal requirements for gender change." That really made Jessica's eyes light up. I showed her some web pages that discussed orchiectomy's. "It says here that if I plan on GRS I should have a special kind of procedure that would leave the ball sack," she said, "because that is used to construct the vagina." "Is that what you want?" I asked. "I don't think so," she said, "GRS is pretty extreme – I like my clitty (and you seem to as well). I think it would look much cleaner to eliminate that ugly sack altogether. What do you think?" "I think you should do what you really want to do – it is not up to me, nor do I want it to be," I said. "Jessica dear, I love YOU, not what is between your legs," I said, "whatever you decide, I will love you just the same." "We don't have to decide right now," Jessica said. "Yes," I responded, "this is a really big deal, so take your time." We got ready for bed and made love – it was even better than the last time – fueled by our mutual love, now out in the open. We drifted off to sleep, holding each other. –––––––––––––––––––– To be continued ...
