Author’s note:
An older man finds a gurlfriend to share in his retirement. I hope you enjoy this fantasy.

I was so glad that Tammi loved me licking her pussy but found it strange that it made her feel more like my wife. That was fine for me, though I didn't understand.

My curiosity got the best of me, so on our drive home from Traverse City, I asked, "How is it that my licking your pussy makes you feel more like my wife?"

"I think it's mainly because so few men do such a thing – in fact you are the only one who has for me. To me, it demonstrates the depth of your love to me, which makes me feel wonderful, and more like your wife."

"I like doing it, especially in the position we did last," I said, "But even more so, given how it turns you on. Anything that turns you on so much is something I want to do as much as possible."

"If you like that position so much we can do it more," Tammi said, "But would you consider really marrying me? I mean a real, legal marriage?"

"Tammi dear, you caught me by surprise," I said, "I was planning to pop the question after we got back, but since you did it, of course I'll marry you. Once we get back, we'll go shopping for a ring and start making plans for the big day."

Tammi leaned over and kissed me, saying, "I'd give you more if you weren't driving."

We stopped for lunch and I noticed that Tammi had been strangely silent for a long time.

"What's troubling you dear?" I asked.

"I want so much to be your wife," she said, "But there's a problem – I'm still married."

"I thought you were divorced!" I said.

"I nearly am," she said, "The only remaining part is to sign the papers – I did, but she refused. When she moved off to Oregon I just considered it over, but that leaves us still legally married."

"What can you do to fix this?" I asked.

"I'll have to contact her and see if I can talk her into signing," she responed.

"I suppose I'll just have to leave that up to you," I responded, "But let me know if I can help in any way."

When we got back Tammi departed for her apartment. I hoped that she would be able to resolve the divorce and clear the way for us.

Around noon the next day I received an alarming email from Tammi. She said she had cancelled the lease on her apartment and was flying out to Oregon to hopefully make peace with her ex and resolve the divorce.

It seemed strange that she cancelled her lease, which sounded like she planned to be gone for a long time – I hoped she would wrap things up soon. She really didn't need an apartment – I was planning to ask her to move in with me, so the apartment wasn't needed. Well, time will tell.

And so it did. Over the next few months, I only heard from Tammi about once a week, and the last one said that she had moved in with her ex and apologized for not communicating more often. She apologized and said did not plan to return in the near future.

I was quite disappointed, but not surprised. I remain hopeful.
