Little did I know just what I would have when I got her! I hope you enjoy this work of fiction. –––––––––––––––––––– I'm Bill, a 27 year of engineering manager at a large farm machinery company in the Quad Cities area of Iowa. Iowa is mostly a farming state, and I like farming, but if you don't want to work on a farm you end up in one of the few larger cities. I'm a mechanical engineer and manage a group of 14 project engineers. We are responsible for much of the hydraulic systems on the farm equipment. I didn't have a steady girlfriend and really wanted to change that. My work kept me really busy and I just wasn't very successful meeting the right kinds of girls so far. I had plenty of dates, considering my schedule, and the girls usually put out very nicely, but they were all air-heads – just a bunch of ditz's! While I like sex, and got plenty of it, I really wanted a girl with an IQ higher than a grade school kid. Lately I've been noticing Tracy Elkins, a pretty gal who manages a group of software engineers. That's a fast-growing area as my company works to stay ahead. We've got some amazing tractors that can drive themselves using GPS to guide them. Tracy was a real bantam beauty – short and thin, but with an adorable face. Her long brown hair hung down, draped over her pretty, nicely-formed breasts. Her breasts were a nice size – not huge, but definitely noteworthy. Some new developments put us in meetings together frequently, and I was trying to find a way to ask her out. Yes, even though I was an otherwise fearless manager, I was still pretty timid about this. Maybe because it was much more important than the girls I met in bars – maybe because it was at work and I didn't want to cause a problem. I did notice that she didn't wear a ring on her finger, so I presumed she was available (if not a lesbian). Now I just needed an opportunity. One day the Chief Engineer called a meeting to announce a new product kick-off. It would be our most advanced tractor yet, with advanced software controlling nearly everything. The Chief Engineer announced a program manager who would be leading the effort and specifically asked that Tracy and I would coordinate our efforts so there would be a seamless integration of hardware and software. In a few minutes I was surprised that my phone buzzed, signaling a text message – it was from Tracy! It said, "Bill – my calendar is just crazy for the next two weeks, and there isn't anything I can cancel. We have to do this sooner – any ideas?" We'll, at least now I had her phone number! I texted back, "How about over dinner tonight?" She looked at me from across the room and smiled as she texted me back, "Are you asking me out on a date?" I was surprised at that, but hopeful, and replied, "It's a business meeting, but we can make it a date if you like." Her reply was, "We'll see – pick me up at 7" and she gave me her address. I liked picking her up at her home rather than the office – that seemed like a good sign. I picked Tracy at 7 and opened the car door for her, saying, "I know you are perfectly capable of opening your own door, but I'm kind of old fashioned." Tracy smiled and replied, "I'm fine with that – there aren't many gentlemen around anymore." We drove to a local steak house – beef is really big in Iowa, and I was delighted when Tracy waited for me to open the car door for her, and again at the restaurant entrance – she knew how to act like a lady. We were soon seated and I was really nervous – I wanted her so badly but had to keep it professional, so we talked about the product plans and what we might have to do differently. We put together plans for our engineers and after an hour were finished with all we could do for now. Tracy surprised me when she said, "Bill, I've wondered what you are like, and I'm glad you are much more approachable than I thought you would be – perhaps we could move on from business to the date now." I smiled and Tracy reached across the table to take my hand. First contact! She told me that she grew up on a farm about half way to Cedar Rapids. She liked the farm, but wanted to do something different with her life, so she went into engineering. I told her that software seemed very appropriate for her. When she asked why I replied, "Because girls are supposed to be soft." "You mean like men are supposed to be hard?" she responded. Seeing that she had made me blushed she giggled and squeezed my hand. We moved on from there. We found that we had a lot in common and I just loved how smart this beautiful woman was. Maybe she would be the one for me. I drove Tracy home and we stood at her door, looking at each other. "I had a nice time, Bill," Tracy said, "thank you for the date." "It was my pleasure," I said, looking into her blue eyes. We held eye contact and soon she lifted her head to me and I brought my lips to hers. My arms surrounded her and she pulled close to me. I put a hand on her soft ass, but quickly pulled away, saying, "Sorry, I got carried away." Tracy took my hand in hers and put it back on her ass and continued kissing me. This was looking very promising indeed! I gently squeezed her soft round buns in my hand as we kissed. "That made the date extra special," she said. "I'm afraid I have a weakness for a girl's buns," I confessed. "My buns like the attention of the right man," she returned, "and you might just be him." "I hope so," I said, stealing another quick kiss. "I won't ask you in," she said, "this time – but I hope I'll see you again." "You know where I work," I said, smiling as I departed. –––––––––––––––––––– To be continued ...
